Vacation Bible School

Dear Parents,
As you may know, Mrs. Linda Mueller, our Director of Religious
Education is retiring at the beginning of June. Mrs. Mueller had
intended to restore last June, but because of COVID-19, she
graciously postponed her much deserved retirement. We all
owe her a debt of gratitude. Thank you, Mrs. Mueller!

Because this summer will be a time of transition for the
Religious Education Office, unfortunately it will not be possible
this year to hold our Summer Intensive Program & Vacation
Bible School. I know how popular these programs are and
promise we will do all we can to bring both back in 2022. I
apologize any inconvenience this might cause.

As you can imagine, not knowing exactly what the state of the
pandemic will be in September makes it difficult to plan for the
2021-22 school year. Currently, our plan is to offer both “in
person” Religious Education classes, as well as a virtual
program online for 2021-22. This, of course, could change as
circumstances dictate.

Finally, I want to thank you as parents for the extraordinary
efforts you are making to share our Catholic Christian faith
with your child(ren). I am grateful for your understanding,
cooperation and patience as we move forward.

May God bless you as we live these last weeks of Lent and
move into Holy Week. I pray your Easter will be joyful,
peace-filled, and – yes, healthy and safe!

Yours in Christ,
Fr. Rich LaVerghetta
Pastor
