In September of 2008, our group began as the Ministry of Mothers Sharing (MOMS), inspired by a mother’s group hosted at other local churches.  After twenty-five of our members attended the Women of Faith conference in Philadelphia several years ago and witnessed the strong bonds of friendship and support which developed in that setting, we changed our name and broadened the mission of our group to invite ALL the women of the parish to come together to explore their spirituality, to enjoy the fellowship of other women, and to learn about the many ways others have found to live out their faith every day.

The goal of the Women of Faith Ministry is to give women a comfortable place to share their experiences and encourage one another in developing the kind of faith which nurtures us through the difficult times and supports us in our daily efforts to fulfill the many demands life places on us.  The group includes women who are strong in their faith, women who are struggling with their faith, and women who don’t have time in their normal day to ponder their faith at all.  Though we are all at different places in our faith journey, though we all have different obligations and relationships in our lives, we all have stories to tell and strengths to share, and spiritually we are all traveling in the same direction.

The group will meet throughout the year beginning on various Monday evenings from 7-9 p.m. in Pedata Hall. There are no annual dues, though we do have two special dinners, our Advent Night and Fellowship Dinner, which are open to members and their guests for a fee.

All women are welcome and encouraged to bring a friend!
