By the manner in which they serve, the ushers contribute a reverent dignity to the mass, and give promise of providing the House of the Lord an atmosphere of prayer and respect to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. It is the responsibility of the ushers to make sure that the parishioners are seated in a quiet, efficient manner and attend to any person that may have special needs. During the mass the ushers guide the communicants to the altar to receive communion. The ushers are also responsible for the collection of the offerings and to make sure they secured. At the end of the mass the ushers help guide the parishioners from church and help with the distribution of the weekly bulletin.
We are always looking for men, women and young adults to join our ministry.
