Making Up Missed Content:
If your child is absent:

Notify us – Contact the Religious Education Office at rem@stjoans.org or 856-983-7575. Absences accompanied by a doctor’s note will be excused.

Review the class content for that week – Go to this link to see what your child’s class learned for that week; this content will be updated weekly on Wednesdays to reflect that week’s content. For grades 1st through 6th, please have your child complete the chapter review in the book that corresponds to what is listed for his or her class at the link. (Our general chapter schedule is linked here, but please be sure to check the above link, as catechists may need to make adjustments to the teaching schedule.)
- For grades 1st through 6th – ‘Alive in Christ,’ our 1st-6th grade textbook, offers lesson plans designed for parents to do at home with their children. You can find the link to access these lesson plans here. To access the specific chapter, click your child’s grade on the left side of the screen, then the down arrow across from the chapter.
We strongly encourage you to use this resources when reviewing the chapter at home with your child. - For grades 7th and 8th – ‘Decision Point’ videos and content can be found at this link. A PDF of the ‘Decision Point’ book can be found at this link.
